In these Terms and Conditions, “Bank” refers to
The Vellore District Central Co-operative Bank.
“Mobile Banking” refers to the Bank’s Mobile Banking service.
“User” means a customer authorized to use the Mobile Banking service.
“Account” includes Savings, Current, or any other eligible account
maintained with the Bank. Minor accounts are not eligible for Mobile
Banking services.
2. Application for Mobile Banking
Mobile Banking services are offered at the discretion of the Bank.
Customers must submit the prescribed application at the branch where
the account is maintained. The Bank reserves the right to accept or
reject applications without assigning reasons.

Immediate Payment Service (IMPS)
Other services introduced by the Bank from time to time
The Bank may add, modify, or discontinue any service at its sole
discretion. The User shall not use Mobile Banking for any illegal or
unauthorized purpose.
4. Joint Accounts
For joint accounts, Mobile Banking access will be provided to one
authorized account holder with the consent of all joint holders.
Transactions carried out shall be binding on all joint account holders.
5. User ID and Access
The Bank will issue a User ID and password to the User. The User must
change the initial password on first login and thereafter at regular
intervals. The User shall ensure secure access to the Mobile Banking
application at all times.
6. Password Security
Password must contain a minimum of 6 characters
Must not be written down or shared
User must prevent unauthorized access to the mobile device
The User shall be fully responsible for all transactions carried out
using the User ID and password.
7. Charges and Minimum Balance
The Bank may levy service charges, minimum balance requirements, or
penalties as applicable. The User authorizes the Bank to debit such
charges from the account without prior notice.
8. Authority to the Bank
The Bank shall authenticate transactions solely on the basis of the
User ID and password. The Bank’s records shall be final and binding
unless discrepancies are reported within seven days.
9. Accuracy of Information
The User is responsible for the correctness of all information provided
through Mobile Banking. The Bank shall not be liable for losses arising
from incorrect or incomplete information.
10. Liability
The User shall be liable for losses caused due to negligence or breach
of these terms. The Bank shall not be liable for losses caused by
technical failures, network issues, natural disasters, or events beyond
the Bank’s control.
11. Indemnity
The User agrees to indemnify and hold the Bank harmless against any loss,
claim, or damage arising from misuse of Mobile Banking services.
12. Disclosure of Personal Information
The Bank may collect, store, and disclose the User’s personal
information for service delivery, legal compliance, fraud prevention,
and regulatory requirements.
13. Bank’s Lien
The Bank shall have the right of lien and set-off on all accounts of the
User for any outstanding dues arising from Mobile Banking services.
14. Proprietary Rights
The User shall not modify, decompile, or reverse engineer the Mobile
Banking application. All intellectual property rights remain with the
Bank or its service providers.
15. Change of Terms
The Bank reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
Continued use of Mobile Banking services shall constitute acceptance
of the revised terms.
16. Non-Transferability
Mobile Banking services are personal to the User and are not
transferable under any circumstances.
17. Termination of Services
Mobile Banking services may be terminated by the User with prior notice
or by the Bank in case of breach, death, insolvency, or account closure.
18. Notices
Notices may be sent electronically, by post, or published on the Bank’s
website. The Bank shall not be responsible for non-receipt of notices.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall
be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Tamil Nadu.
20. Safe Custody of Mobile / SIM
In case of loss or theft of mobile phone or SIM card, the User must
immediately inform the Bank and lodge a police complaint. The Bank shall
not be liable for transactions carried out before such intimation.
21. Mobile Banking Transactions
Mobile Banking transactions are instantaneous and irreversible.
Stop-payment requests are not permitted. Refunds, if any, initiated by
merchants will be credited to the User’s account.
